    Through my childhood I tried multiple sports: karate, aikido, floorball and I always had natural need for physical activity.
    During my university studies of Special Education of Security Sections, I did MMA (mixed martial arts) and lot of different combat disciplines: judo, box, wrestling, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
    During studies I went to four month stay at Sports Academy in Denmark to try CrossFit.
    I got hooked and after few months I focused on this kind of functional strength and conditioning program exclusively.
    Since that time I was coaching in different boxes around Slovak and Czech Republic and I do and live CrossFit every day.
    By this time I finished my master in Applied Kinesiology with pure purpose of understanding body, nutrition and training more, to provide the best service possible. Thanks to this unique study program I got to work with wide range of different people from PRO athletes (basketball, hockey players, MMA fighters etc.) to people with different disabilities and medical conditions (elderly, diabetes mellitus, people after stroke, heart attack, people with visual disabilities, people on wheelchair etc.) and I always used CrossFit methodology with great results and improvements in the field of interest of each individual. “Our needs for physical activity differ in degree, not in kind of activity.”
    After university, I started to look for some opportunities to develop myself as a coach and to educate myself more, possibly also try some another country. Here I am.
    For me, life is motion and progress and therefore I want to improve myself as much as I want to make my clients and athletes better, so we always grow together.

    I came in to CrossFit 3 years ago, after being brought up around sports my entire life, it changed my perception on health and fitness as a whole. CrossFit training methodology makes you constantly strive for progress, it teaches you the importance of working towards a goal which makes the reward so much greater.
    As a coach, I want to give the ability to others to see what they're capable of doing with their bodies, to see the positive effect this has on their daily lives, mentally and physically, through barbell training. After being a Strength Coach at a Women's only gym Hong Kong I wanted to work with a bigger variety of people and moved to Dubai.
    As an athlete, I want to progress every day. Competing at the Scottish Championships and British Nationals for Weightlifting has given me unparalleled experience on the platform to competing at the Pacific Regionals as an Individual giving me the ability to do what I love fueling the desire to progress.
    The gift is CrossFit, everything else comes with it.

    Having always been involved in some form of physical activity (sport and dancing) throughout my school life, I found myself a career in the Fitness Industry in 2002. Initially focusing on teaching Group Exercise classes and then moving to Personal Training. Combining my love of travelling with Fitness, I moved to Dubai in 2008.

    I started Crossfit in 2012 and fell in love with it straight away. I took time out during my first pregnancy but continued throughout my most recent. Having used Crossfit as post pregnancy training also, I have seen first hand the impact it can have and the changes it can make in such a short space of time.

    Richie Mc Wade has been involved in fitness for 9 years and is a certified strength and conditioning coach and CrossFit Level 2 trainer. He has several years of lecturing experience having lectured personal training qualifications for some of the best colleges in South Africa and Dubai. He specializes in functional training methods and personalized CrossFit programs.     David joined the CrossFit GoldBox team in October 2016. After a successful professional football career where David played for a list of clubs including Manchester United, Yeovil town, Stockport county and Darlington.
    He went on to study personal training and gained his level 2 coaching badge in football. More recently he gained his level 1 CrossFit certificate with his CrossFit gymnastics certificate. David also has a diploma in functional performance where it gives him the ability to assess an athlete’s movement to see where their weaknesses are so he can build a strength program around the athlete.

    Bex, originally a dancer, stumbled into CrossFit 5 years ago after having her 2 children and wanting to regain her figure, and it quickly became her passion.
    After transforming her own body post pregnancy, she began her coaching career running a functional fitness program for Mums, before moving into coaching CrossFit.
    She is a level 2 trainer and specializes in gymnastics and weightlifting.
